HOW MUCH IS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER UK?
The cost of a wedding photographer in the UK varies depending on who you choose and their experience, but you can expect to pay anything between £800 and £5000. My wedding photography packages start from £999 to offer couples the best value for money without compromising on skill and experience.
HOW TO CHOOSE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
It’s so important to choose a wedding photographer who understands your vision for the day and takes photos in the style you prefer. The best thing to do is get recommendations and then check out their portfolios to see if their style matches yours. If you’re still not sure, you can usually book a consultation to ask any follow-up questions and find a wedding photographer who you also get on with on a personal level. DO I NEED A SECOND SHOOTER?
I would recommend a second shooter for all of the following:
If you have more than 100 guests in attendance.
If you would like different angles captured at the same time, for example, the top and bottom of the aisle.
If you would like to capture both you and your partner getting ready.
If candid shots of your guests mean the most to you.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH PACKAGE?
The difference is the number of hours allocated and the number of images you will receive.
Whichever package you choose, you will always receive the following:
A private call (or FaceTime if you prefer) before you book, to discuss your requirements and the process.
A shoot list for your date.
A slideshow telling the story of your day, frame by frame.
A private online gallery and free downloads to share with your family and friends.
A USB with all the images.
HOW EARLY SHOULD WE BOOK FOR OUR WEDDING?
Book as soon as possible to secure your preferred date. I will recoment book early is better as my rate incrested every year.
DO WE NEED TO PAY A BOOKING FEE?
Yes, a 40% deposit is required to secure your date. This initial payment is then discounted from your final invoice.
The final payment is due two weeks before your wedding. Don’t worry – I will send you a reminder email as I know you'll be very busy!

HOW FAR WOULD YOU TRAVEL TO SHOOT OUR WEDDING? DO YOU SHOOT WEDDINGS ABROAD?
Absolutely. I am based in Manchester but love to travel and see new places!
A travel cost will be provided depending on the location of the wedding. All travel within 75 miles of Manchester is covered in the cost. Any venue over 75 miles away incurs an additional travel charge of £170.
For weddings abroad, just ask me for a bespoke quote. Prices don’t vary that much from a normal UK wedding, it’s normally just the extra for flights, accommodation, and any unavoidable additional expenses.
DO YOU HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes. I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS, AND HOW WILL YOU SEND THEM?
You will receive 10 sneak peek, edited images just 48 hours after your wedding day. The remaining images are supplied to you in an online gallery and a USB, 8-10 weeks after your wedding.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use Sony A1 and Sony A7R V camera bodies which I will use at the same time throughout the day with different focal lengths. I use primary lenses – usually a mixture of 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm and sometimes 24-70mm or 70-200mm.
I aim to shoot in natural light however I do use flash at night and in very low-lighting conditions.
