who i am
I’m Chu Chu, and I’m the lead creative behind Take Two Photography. My husband, my family, and my friends mean everything to me—I’m so grateful for their love and support.
Photography is not only a creative outlet for me but also a way to deepen my connection with different cultures.
It may sound cliche, but I always dreamed of being a wedding photographer. To me, being a wedding photographer means having the power to capture mesmerising moments and transform them into timeless images that transport you back in time.
I have a huge passion for capturing special and intimate moments between a couple, as well as all the fun and joyous moments that come hand in hand with a wonderful celebration
When I’m not shooting, you can usually find me hanging around the Northern Quarter or Media City…life is too short to spend it at home! I enjoy my time with my husband and my daughter Molly making memories. We love finding new places to go on walks, have a nice cup of tea and a piece of cake – so if you have any suggestions I am all ears!

Firstly, Ross is my right-hand man and trusted partner in Take Two Wedding Photography.
Working with me on most larger events, he also provides wedding videography – perfect for all those cinematic moments you want to re-live over and over.
Ross first got into the industry during his time at The Northern Film School, where he studied filmmaking back in 2016. In between having fun and hanging out at the library, he was filming everything in sight, documenting every detail to bring them back to life on screen.
It was this process that soon saw him hooked on wedding photography, where every little detail counts.
He’s passionate about those goosebump-inducing moments when a couple sees their stills and video for the first time, and can’t wait to do the same for you.

At Take Two Wedding Photography, the philosophy is very simple; relaxed documentary wedding photography with an editorial edge. This means unstaged, paparazzi-style images (without the irritating obtrusion), and a mix of classic and modern shots.
This style is ideal for natural introverts or those who aren’t used to having their picture taken and posing for the camera. We’ve worked with couples from all backgrounds and cultures to capture creative imagery that tells their unique story, without endless staging and direction.
With long roots in the industry, we know how important it is that the day runs smoothly, which is why we allow each scene to unfold naturally and capture each beautiful moment as it happens.
